What we collect
When you use a form or the chat assistant, we collect what you choose to tell us — typically your name, email address, phone number and details of your enquiry. Calculator figures stay in your browser unless you ask us to call you about a Decision in Principle.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, provide the advice and services you ask for, meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and — only if you subscribe — send our mailing list. When you become a client we'll give you full details of how your information is shared with lenders, insurers and our principal firm.
Our lawful basis
Taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for marketing emails (which you can withdraw at any time).
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't go further are kept for no longer than necessary. Client records are kept for as long as regulation requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
